A Romantic Affair with Mexican Flair

The Tucson desert rained on Ramses and Lauren’s wedding, but that didn’t stop their day from being filled with laughter, love and all the beauty of spring. Their wedding palette was warm consisting of burgundy, blush and copper tones. Lauren’s bridesmaids wore a deep forest green gown and correlating vintage copper belts. In place of silk ribbon, we wrapped Lauren’s bouquet with copper wire. The Monarch team executed the ceremony at St. Augustine Cathedral followed by a reception at a nearby historical mansion. Each guest was welcomed by a prickly pear margarita and hand painted Mexican tiles lead the guests to their seats. After dinner the rain stopped and the festivities moved outdoors, under a gorgeous pink sky. The night concluded with Lauren in a bright red get-away gown holding her new husband’s hand as their loved ones tossed confetti over them and saw them off. This wedding was a romantic spring affair with a beautiful ode to the groom’s Mexican heritage.
